This week, Luxury Travel Advisor’s weekly “Aspirational” column featured selected Valentine’s Day escapes and opportunities, including Sumaq’s new “Romance Room”. This story was also featured in the “M Report” – a weekly newsletter containing items of particular interest to millennial travelers, that is distributed by TravelAgentCentral every Wednesday to an opt-in list of subscribers who are interested in luxury offers. See below – we have forwarded the weekly newsletter that just came out, and attached a PDF of the Luxury Travel Advisor story.
We’re pleased to send you the third story by Laurette Veres, as a result of attending last year’s media fam trip. Her exclusive, four-page photo/feature story appears in the Winter issue of Texas Weddings. It will remain on newsstands for three months – then, the cover will be changed, but the magazine contents will remain the same, so it receives even greater circulation. Laurette first published this story in H Texas magazine, followed by Texas Honeymoons, so we’ve received excellent publicity from her visit.
We’re pleased to report that the story Laurette Veres published in the special Honeymoons edition of Texas Weddings magazine has now appeared as a major feature in H Texas magazine’s year-end edition, “The Best of H Texas.” The issue recaps the year’s best experiences, and includes a cover photo of a wedding at Sumaq. The four-page photo/feature story based on this year’s press trip profiles Machu Picchu as a “bucket list” destination.
Includes a story focusing on the Sacred Valley in Peru, as a destination that is often overlooked in favor of Machu Picchu. While the purpose of the story is to highlight the Sacred Valley, writer Elaine Glusac included a separate item about Machu Picchu and suggests Sumaq as a place to stay in Aguas Calientes. Elaine stopped into Sumaq to see the renovation – she mentions that the hotel was recently renovated.
Simon Parker’s review just appeared in the UK’s Telegraph, and it’s extremely positive – he gives it an overall rating of 9 out of 10, reviewing several areas: Location, Style & Character, Service & Facilities, Rooms, Food & Drink, and Value for Money.
Machu Picchu, a 15th-century incancitadel, is the best-known archaeological site in South America. This bucket list destination was built around 1450 AD and abandoned a century later when Spanish conquistadors invaded the region.
