Sumaq Hotel signs alliance with Aldeas Infantiles SOS Peru

Sumaq Machu Picchu Hhotel reaffirms its commitment to social responsibility and the development of local communities by signing a collaboration agreement with the renowned international organization Aldeas Infatiles SOS Peru, joining a noble cause for the benefit of children and adolescents in vulnerable situations. 

The signing of the agreement took place at the organization´s facilities in Lima, in the presence of the national director of Aldeas Infantiles, Nancy Martinez, and the hotel´s managing director, Anibal Clavijo, who highlighted the importance of generating alliances with organizations committed to the welfare and future of children in Peru.  

As part of this initiative, Sumaq Machu Picchu Hotel implemented from June 2025 a symbolic donation of $5 US dollars for each reservation made through its official website: www.sumaqhotelperu.com . This contribution will go entirely to support the programs of Aldeas Infantiles SOS Peru, contributing directly to the integral development of children and adolescents facing difficult contexts.

Aldeas Infantiles SOS Peru, is an international non- profit organization with a presence in more than 130 countries, dedicated to guaranteeing the right of children to live in families and to develop in safe, loving and protective environments. In Peru, the organization has been working since 1975 and has active programs in several regions, including Cusco, where it provides shelter, education, emotional care and family support to more than 1,500 children and young people in vulnerable situations. Its work is recongnized for promoting  models of alternative care and prevention of child abandonment.
